This museum dedicated to the life, times and work of Benedicto Reyes Cabrera (BenCab) is as fascinating as the man who is its subject. The gallery is a mix of high glass panes slanting light into modern art colonnades offset by walls of traditional animist wood carvings, bulol (rice guardians), psychedelic works by Leonard Aguinaldo and ceremonial hagabi (carved wooden benches).
It was 3 years ago since 2016, just now I was able to blog again a few years ago due to my busy and problematic with my place because I could not concentrate on article making and also busy with my studies. This picture I took when we went to Baguio with my friends before we left to celebrate Christmas with our family.
ART GALLERY CORNER
I really love art painting about the nature and culture of people.
While we explore inside Bencab Museum, not just the art gallery but they have also a park for sight seeing, relaxing and a place that you can take a break like cottages and restaurant.
Spending time together with my victory group friends and enjoying while where in Baguio. There’s a lot of things to do it in Baguio specially in Museum, I enjoyed seeing the scenic view of mountains in BenCab viewing deck, the Art Gallery, and Stainless Steel benches/sculpture.
